Properly Educated

Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all. -Aristotle

Be passionate about the things you are learning. You will be surprised by how effective it is.

That first spark when you meet a potential love interest. All you want to do is get to know the person. Your mind and your heart work in unison toward the same pursuit. This education is easy, because you want it. You are passionate about it.

What if you took that same desire and applied it toward a subject you want to know more about? Your learning would come much easier. But when your heart is not in it, can you truly retain the information you are trying to learn?

The Virtue of Prudence

There is an unlimited wealth in having wisdom that goes beyond money, possessions, and social status. We can all grow in wisdom if we choose to pursue it. King Solomon regarded as one of the wisest to have lived said: Happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gets understanding, for the gain of it is better than gain from silver, and its profit better than gold. –Proverbs 3:13-14

Can you hear the call of wisdom? It is there, we only have to listen.
