There are things out there that we cannot see, but we know it is there. Not only do we accept these truths, but we rely upon them with confidence. Our faith goes beyond our belief in God. It extends to our country, our families, and our friends.

To the Finish Line

It is a key word echoed amongst athletes and teams. FINISH.

Everybody can start. They can set out on a grand quest or just a neighborhood 5K. They can decide to drop a few pounds or commit to their New Year’s resolutions. So many starters. So very few finishers.

Can you be different? Can you not only start, but can you finish?

Making it to the playoffs isn’t enough. Completing half of the Couch to 5K training isn’t enough. Where are the promises you made to yourself in January, because it is now December?

It takes faith, hard work, and endurance to complete the task you set out to do. But if you can do it, you can be the one that crosses the finish line. You can find the true glory of accomplishment.
